The Gold Rose Award recognizes a Sustaining member who continues to exemplify the Junior League’s mission through dedicated volunteerism, leadership, and community impact.

Specifically, this award celebrates a member who has continued to effectively apply her League training and experience to make a lasting difference in both the members of the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region and the communities we serve.

Presented annually at the May Annual Membership Meeting, the Gold Rose Award celebrates those who have transitioned from active members to Sustainers yet remain deeply committed to the League’s values and mission.  Their ongoing involvement and mentorship inspire future generations to uphold the principles of voluntarism and community service.

Who Can Nominate?

Any Junior League member – whether Sustainer, Active, or Provisional – may submit a nomination.

How to Nominate

1. Complete the Nomination Form.

2. Submit the Form: Mail the completed form to a Sustaining Director.

3. Deadline: Ensure your nomination is postmarked by April 15.
