Our membership consists of a diverse group of over 300 women who collectively volunteer more than 1,500 hours of service each year to the projects and organizations supported by the League. Since our founding in 1938, we’ve contributed over $600,000 to the communities of the Great Lakes Bay Region.

From our modest beginnings of decorating the Children’s Ward at Saginaw General Hospital, establishing the First Ward Community Center, producing children’s plays and radio series, art exhibits at the Saginaw Castle museum of County History, and musical comedy fundraisers, to opening and operating the Penny Wise Thrift Shop to fund the Community Trust Account, establishing  the Hospital Hospitality House of Saginaw and an annual Festival of Trees fundraiser.
