Community Impact

We’re Focused on What Matters Most Right Now in the Great Lakes Bay Region

The Community Impact Committee plays a vital role in advancing the Junior League of the Great Lakes Bay Region’s mission: to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

At its core, this committee is charged with researching local challenges, identifying the most pressing needs, and transforming them into strategic, hands-on projects that align with the League’s values and goals, ensuring that initiatives are both relevant and sustainable – building stronger communities and creating long-term change.

Whether launching new initiatives or deepening existing partnerships, the Committee works to ensures that our resources – both financial and human – are directed where they can make the greatest difference.

We’re Creating Fulfilling Leadership Opportunities Throughout our Region

Our members do more than just volunteer; they form a network of empowered women committed to creating lasting change and making a meaningful impact across the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Our goal is to empower women by nurturing their individual creativity and leadership abilities, equipping them with the tools to use their talents, grow personally, and create meaningful change in the areas our communities need it the most.  We are dedicated to developing women to do a world of good.
